The game is played from the classic isometric view, and the player observes only a section of the location they are visiting at a given time - it can be a platform, a room or a corridor suspended in mid-air. It is relatively difficult to make progress in the game. Despite the fact that Lumo makes numerous references to the classics of the genre, it offers modern-day visuals with impressive lighting effects and high-definition textures.
