The Golf Club 2
Sports
June 27, 2017
A continuation of a warmly-welcomed golf simulator from 2014. The basic mechanics seen in the previous installment haven’t changed – we've received a complex sandbox golfing simulator that enables us to create our own player and take part in numerous matches and golf tournaments. The authors introduced numerous fixes and improvements, including realistic club control and more personalization options. Aside from an extensive career mode, The Golf Club 2 offers single matches and multiple multiplayer modes. The multiplayer itself is influenced by its online community – the players can establish golfing clubs that can participate in tournaments, or even the whole series. The game contains an extensive golf course editor, allowing us to share our courses with other players. The new installment uses Unity 5 engine, meaning improved graphics, mainly regarding the character models and environment.

Dangerous Golf
Sports
June 3, 2016
A spectacular sport simulator of an extreme version of golf. Developed by Three Fields Entertainment, studio founded by former members of Criterion Software (responsible for the Burnout series and a few installments in the Need for Speed franchise), mechanics-wise, the title combines elements of the aforementioned Burnout, a shooter game, Black, and a classic basketball arcade game, NBA Jam. Your objective does not revolve only around scoring, but also around the most effective destruction of your surroundings using the ball that bounces off various surfaces and objects, can speed up, or catch fire and spread it all around. The action takes place in rather unusual locations, like a gas station, a hotel kitchen, and a palace ballroom. In the course of the game you collect points and money that can be spent on your golfer’s technique development and unlocking new shots and tricks.
100ft Robot Golf
Sports
October 10, 2016
An unconventional, arcade sports game created by No Goblin, specifically for PlayStation VR. The game presents an original variation on the classic golf, casting the player in the role of a pilot controlling a powerful robot. The robot's main goal is to place the ball in a hole that is located far away. The entire action takes place on bizarre maps, such as a city center, the surface of the Moon or mountain peaks. Because the robots are gigantic, particular environmental objects are destructible, which allows for numerous crazy actions. The player can also hit the ball with a club of another robot standing in the "golf course" as well. Apart from the single-player campaign, the creators also included a multiplayer component. The players can compete against one another either online or in the split-screen mode.
Everybody's Golf
Sports
August 29, 2017
Another installment of Everybody’s Golf, a series that accompanies various Sony consoles. Similarly to previous entries in the series, the new Everybody’s Golf is an arcade sports game for golf fans. Although the gameplay is much more accessible than in simulators, fully learning how to play it takes much time because the golf fields are controlled by realistic physics. Everybody’s Golf introduces several novelties in comparison to the previous entries. The first one is character development and customization. At first the player determines the look and clothes of their character and then they improve the character's abilities by completing specific tasks. Another important novelty are the fully open golf fields. The player can freely move, run or even drive through them in a special vehicle. In addition to single player mode, Everybody’s Golf for {PLAT} offers multiplayer modes. There are many gameplay modes available: competition, cooperation, and optional special tasks.
Infinite Mini Golf
Sports
July 25, 2017
A first-person sports game, created mainly for VR goggles and developed by ZEN Studios. It is a sequel to 2010 Planet Minigolf. This game represents a very arcade approach to golf, although quick fingers are not the only thing that is necessary during the game. The developers implemented a rather realistic physics system which means that, in order to succeed, we need practice, skills and knowledge of the game mechanics. Infinite Golf represents an unusual version of this sport because matches take place on rather unconventional fields, e.g. near a haunted house, ice land or a track made out of cardboard boxes. We can test our skills in various single and multiplayer modes. Additionally we can also customize the appearance of our player by buying additional costumes and accessories.
Rory McIlroy PGA TOUR
Sports
July 14, 2015
Another installment in one of the most popular golf simulation game series by EA Sports, for the first time ever not using Tiger Wood's name in the title. The game's release for the eighth generation consoles resulted in much better visuals, which in turn is a result of utilizing the Frostbite 3 engine (known from e.g. Need For Speed Rivals or the Battlefield series), for the first time used in a sports game. Thanks to this, the game features excellent physics and unprecedented realism. There are several gameplay modes to choose from, from the career mode, through single player rounds, to online multiplayer challenges. Apart from a wide range of real-life-based and fictional golf courses, the game also features locations based on other Electronic Arts games, such as Battlefield 4.
