Proun+ Description
Proun+, released on AND, iOS and 3DS, is an original arcade game that combines futuristic racing with elements of contemporary abstract art. The title is an improved version of the game, which debuted in 2011 on PC and received a number of industry awards. The game was developed by Engine Software, known mainly from console ports of the cult Terraria.
Mechanics
Proun+ is characterized by extremely simple mechanics. We control a ball that rolls along the tube suspended in space. The difficulty lies in the fact that the route is full of various types of obstacles and avoiding them - especially at higher difficulty levels - requires a lot of skill and reflex. Hitting an obstacle reduces our speed significantly, but if we manage not to hit anything for at least 12 seconds, we get an afterburner that allows for a 2-second acceleration. The game offers a total of 11 tracks, four game modes and five difficulty levels. The difference between them boils down to the increasing speed of ball movement.
Technical aspects
Proun+ has 3D graphics and is characterized by simple, intuitive control (via a touch screen or tilting the device). The game's graphics were inspired by such artists as Piet Mondrian and Vasily Kandinsky, while the soundtrack consists of jazz-rock music. The game is designed for a single player, but we can compete with our own "ghosts" and participate in online rankings.
