Project C4 (codename title) is an espionage themed game focused on having long conversations, experiencing introspections and making choices. The story in the game is concentrated on the topic of the fight for power between rivaling geopolitical organizations.
Project C4 is the codename for the second project of ZA/UM studio, a development team from Estonia, which gained worldwide fame thanks to Disco Elysium. The creators have once again decided to put an RPG game in our hands, but this time the whole thing revolves around the theme of espionage.
Project C4 takes us to a world driven by shadowy conflicts of rivaling geopolitical powers. We embody the Operant, an agent of one of the global forces, and we find ourselves in the middle of a brutal fight for truth and influence. Striving to uncover forbidden secrets and risking their life in the process, our character gradually learns more about themselves.
Similar to Disco Elysium, dialogues play a predominant role in Project C4. The outcome of our actions and choices we make is determined by the roll of the dice. The creators also placed a great emphasis on the issue of mind manipulation, enabling the alteration of a character's consciousness, its reorganization, and even complete transformation. This is done through intense introspection and the use of psychoactive substances.
