Pillars of Eternity: The White March Part II Description
Pillars of Eternity: The White March – Part II is the second expansion for Pillars of Eternity, an RPG by Obsidian Entertainment, released in 2015 for PC. Similarly to the first add-on, The White March – Part II requires the original game in order to work. Both expansion can be bought either separately or together.
Story
In the expansion, we go back to the snowy region of the eponymous White March, where our party came to uncover the secret of the legendary durgan steel. The second part of the add-on continues the story that began in The White March – Part I, enriching the game world with new locations and quests. It also increases the character level capacity and unlocks some new special abilities. The plot was written by the co-creators of the original game’s story: Eric Fenstermaker (also known for his work on South Park: The Stick of Truth) and Carrie Patel, the author of a popular steampunk novel series, Recolleta.
Apart from the typical add-on contents, one of the biggest novelties introduced by The White March – Part II is a new companion, a barbarian named Meneha.
Game modes
The developers prepared a new game mode called Story Time which allows to experience the extensive story of Pillars of Eternity at a faster pace.
