OutRun is a popular SEGA car race that first appeared on coin-up machines in 1986. The player will play the role of the sports driver Ferrari Testarossa and will try to complete the route mapped by the authors of the game in the shortest possible time.
In total, Out Run offers fifteen sections of the route, of which the player will be able to drive five in one swoop. We get a certain amount of time to complete each stage. If we fail to reach the checkpoint and the clock shows zero, the game automatically ends. As it usually happens, we will be disturbed by various obstacles on the ground and other road users. Especially the latter can ask the player a lot of poverty, because each collision with a different vehicle causes a collision and thus an immediate loss of speed.
In many ways OutRun resembles the classic hit from the early eighties called Pole Position. Both the presentation of the action (third party view) and the inclusion of only two gears were borrowed from Atari's product. An interesting novelty is the inclusion of several pieces of music (exactly three), which can be selected before the start of the competition. A similar patent was later used, among others, in the third part of the popular Lotus series. PeCet conversion of OutRun is as good as other games from that period - it gives way to the automatic original, but it is made decently, according to the capabilities of the then computers.
