One Piece: Grand Cruise is an action game base on the license of the popular manga by One Piece by Echiiro Oda, created by Bandai Namco.

Story

The game takes place in a universe known from the manga, where most of the world is occupied by huge oceans, controlled either by the World Government or pirates. The story focuses on the fate of Monkey D. Luffy and his companions, joined by the players in One Piece: Grand Cruise as a new member of the Straw Hat Crew.

Game mechanics

One Piece: Grand Cruise uses first-person perspective, as befits a VR production. The game focuses on exploring the ship Thousand Sunny and interacting with Luffy, Zoro, Nami and the rest of the Straw Hat pirates. There were also more arcade gameplay sections, for example, sea battles with navy troops.

Technical aspects

One Piece: Grand Cruise uses three-dimensional graphics modeled after the original anime style thanks to the use of cel-shading technology, and the characters speak with the voices of the original voice actors. You will need a PlayStation VR set with a PlayStation Move motion controller to play the game.
