Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate

Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate is a premium module for Neverwinter Nights 2. It was developed by Ossian Studios, as well as some of the fans. The add-on offers many hours of gameplay, an enthralling story, professional voice-over, an expanded soundtrack, and is packed with new content such as previously unavailable items.

Mysteries of Westgate takes us to the eponymous city of Westgate in the world of Forgotten Realms. We assume the role of an adventurer that came into possession of a powerful, though cursed, item. If that wasn’t bad enough, a secret organization, known only as the Night Masks, has taken interest in us. Whether you like it or not, the protagonist and his companions become a part of a complex intrigue and a conflict between two warring factions. We have to choose our allies and try to get rid of the curse, saving the city from a deadly scheme in the process.

The game offers a non-linear single player campaign that is full of side quests and all sorts of challenges. The whole delivers up to 20 hours of gameplay. Our party can be joined by three completely new companions. The story allows the players to explore many previously undiscovered places.
