Plot
Neon Shadow doesn't offer an extensive storyline. The game offers a simple scenario, which serves only as a background for the gameplay. The action takes place in the distant future, and we play the role of a space marine wearing combat armor. The marine lands on board a space station controlled by bloodthirsty robots. Our task is to destroy them, take control of the facility and save all of humanity by preventing the spread of the mechanical pests.
Mechanics
Neon Shadow is a classic FPS, referring to the production of the 1990s. We observe the action from the first-person perspective, and the fun comes down mainly to fighting hordes of robots. The battles are fought at a fast pace and with the use of various weapons. The authors have prepared a large set of enemies with different abilities, requiring different tactics.
The default control scheme is to use the touch screen, but the game also supports gamepads.
Game modes
In addition to the campaign, Neon Shadow also offers several multiplayer modes, both cooperative and competitive. What is interesting, the authors even added the option of playing with another person on the same screen (only on tablets). As for the online modes, up to four users can fight on maps. Neon Shadow also has the option to train with AI-controlled bots.
