A tuned version of the cult sports game, which, after successes in game rooms, found its way to computers and home consoles. The production is characterized by a new, fully three-dimensional engine and players' animations made in motion capture technology. Basketball players have enriched with a whole lot of new tricks, and the game is accompanied by a professional match commentary.

NBA Jam Extreme is a heavily tuned version of the cult sports game, which was a huge success on slot machines and then also found its way onto home computers and fifth generation consoles. Unlike the original, Sculptured Software studio is responsible for the development of the title, known from work on such productions as Mortal Kombat, WWF Wrestlemania or NHL Breakaway.

NBA Jam series is a unique virtual adaptation of basketball, in which there are no rules and fouls, and the main emphasis has been put on the dynamics and spectacularity of the game. In the game we participate in duels of two-person teams composed of the biggest stars of the NBA league. In total there are over 170 of them and they are described by as many as 13 different parameters. In addition to the unusual appearance (characteristic large heads), our players have a number of incredible skills, which allow them, among other things, to make spectacular throws from the end of the pitch or batches made after several meters of jumps.
