The seventh part of the off-road racing series in which we ride motorcycles, quads and UTVs. In MX vs. ATV Legends we will find the most extensive career mode in the history of the series and a multiplayer mode allowing us to play together over the Internet or on a split screen.

MX vs. ATV Legends is the seventh part of the racing game series, launched in 2005. The game was developed by the Rainbow Studios team, and its release was handled by THQ Nordic, which is responsible for the brand.

Mechanics

In MX vs. ATV Legends we take part in off-road races. The game allows us to ride a motorcycle and a quad or sit behind the wheel of an off-road UTV. During the game we are busy fighting for victory on various tracks. The tracks are full of turns and jumps, so learning about the surprises waiting for us is one of the keys to success. New to the game is the Trails mode, in which we race in the open air.

The steering is arcade-like and focuses on spectacular driving. Nevertheless, every vehicle handles a bit differently. In addition, we have to pay some attention to balancing the player's body, especially when cornering, preparing for jumps and arranging for landings. We can also perform impressive tricks in the air.

Moreover, the game allows us to modify the look of the player and vehicles; the latter can also be tuned, by choosing better and better parts, and thus increasing their performance.

Game modes

MX vs. ATV Legends includes the most extensive career mode in the history of the series. Apart from races, we have to pay some attention to making deals with sponsors and taking part in special events. In addition, the game offers a multiplayer mode; two people can race on a split screen, while up to sixteen players can fight over the Internet for victory.

Technical aspects

Graphics of MX vs. ATV Legends shows a decent quality level. Both the detailed models of motorcycles, quads and ATVs, as well as a variety of routes full of details may appeal to you.
