Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 5

Monster Energy Supercross 5 is a motorcycle racing game. It was developed by Milestone studio, which has created previous installments of the series, as well as such series as MotoGP, RIDE, MXGP and WRC: FIA World Rally Championship.

Mechanics

The game focuses on supercross races that take place in closed stadiums on tracks filled with moguls, bumps and holes that make driving difficult. Milestone studio acquired the full Monster Energy Supercross license from the 2021 season in order to develop the game, giving us authentic locations, brands, machines and teams. Players can compete in the 450SX and 250S classes (both eastern and western).

In terms of gameplay, Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 5 combines simulator and arcade elements. The controls are relatively simple, but the machines behave realistically, so it takes a lot of effort to master them on the tracks. In order to make it easier for the players to acquire the necessary skills, the authors have prepared a virtual academy, which teaches how to drive motorcycles step by step.

In comparison to previous installments, a new feature is the introduction of 2-stroke motorcycles from manufacturers such as Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, KTM and Husqvarna. In addition, the career mode has been improved, thanks to which crashes and injuries of our rider affect his condition in subsequent races. The player can perform special tasks to speed up his recovery. The open location Compound has also been expanded, with additional tracks, challenges, and items to obtain.

Game modes

In Monster Energy Supercross 5 you can play solo in single races or in career mode. There is also a possibility to compete with other players in multiplayer mode. An important novelty is the split-screen mode.

An additional attraction is an extensive track editor that allows you to create your own tracks and share them with the rest of the community. Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 5 adds the Rhythm Section Editor feature, allowing you to design only segments of tracks that other players can then use in their creations.

Technical aspects

The game offers fully 3D graphics, the main advantage of which is the highly detailed motocycles.
