Mugen Souls Z Description
Mugen Souls Z is the second part of the jRPG cycle started in 2012 with Mugen Souls. Developers from Compile Heart studio remained faithful to the jRPG genre enriched with strategic elements as well as anime style.
Story
As in the original, the plot Mugen Souls Z presents a very twisted story with many humorous accents. Players will get to know further adventures of Lady Chou-Chou, who has lost most of her strength due to her greed. However, she managed to transfer the rest of her power into the body of the clumsy goddess Sylma. The heroine, whose actions are directed by the player, together with her faithful companions has to face the hordes of Shampurus awakened from sleep.
Mechanics
The main focus of the game is on completing the team of warriors and fights with the opponents. As befits an RPG production, characters can belong to different classes, which are also associated with certain combat abilities. The experience gained through winning duels allows you to develop the skills of the heroes.
Combat mechanics is based on solutions with Mugen Souls. The competition takes place in a turn-based system on large arenas. During the skirmishes, the tactical positioning of the characters on the board according to the range of their attacks is of crucial importance.
Technical issues
The audio-visual layer of Mugen Souls Z on PC and PS3 does not differ much from the first installment of the cycle. The creators decided to combine 2 and 3D graphics, as well as the eye-catching, colourful anime style.
