Mortal Rite is an action RPG enriched with mechanics taken from the roguelike and soulslike genres. The game is the debut work of the independent team Round Toast Studios, and was created partially thanks to financial support from players using the Kickstarter platform.

Gameplay

In Mortal Rite we view the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game takes us to a fantasy world, which we explore as warriors who differ in fighting style, preferred weapons and skills, and who also have their own stories.

Additionally, each character has their strengths and weaknesses. For example, while the strength of the mighty Shold is... well, his strength, which allows him to knock down enemies and take a barrage of blows and bullets, Dawskin primarily makes use of his speed and agility, jumping to adversaries or escaping to safe distance when things get too hot around him.
