Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 4 Description
Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 4 is the fourth part of the series of racing games dedicated to the supercross; it is about off-road motorbike racing on special circuits. As with the previous instalments of the cycle, the game was developed by the Milestone studio and has an official Monster Energy Supercross 2020 license, so that real riders, motorbikes and tracks from the 2020 season appear in it.
Mechanics
In Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 4, we race on tracks that are covered in dirt, sand and gravel, filled with obstacles. Seventeen real-world tracks have been included in the game, led by seven located in Salt Lake City. In addition, the authors give us a test track, which is inspired by the landscapes of the Maine islands. The driving mechanics designed for the game is arcade, but it requires the player to have some skill to balance the rider's body when cornering or jumping; in addition, the differences between the individual motorcycles are clearly noticeable.
In addition, in the career mode, we earn special points to acquire new skills that increase our potential and chances to win. As we progress, we also unlock licensed extras with over 110 brand logos, which allow us to modify the appearance of our rider and motorbike and affect their performance.
Game modes
The core of Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 4 is a career mode designed from scratch, in which we start in the Supercross Futures class and finish in the 250SX and 450SX categories. Besides, we can play in multiplayer mode or try our hand as a track designer, creating our own circuits in a special editor.
Technical aspects
Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame 4 is based on Unreal Engine technology. The game has high quality graphic design. The realistic sounds of motorbikes are also noteworthy.
