Might & Magic: Duel of Champions Description
Might & Magic: Duel of Champions is an online computer version of a popular card game. Thanks to Ubisoft Quebec players from around the world can fight duels of armies and characters known from the universe of Might & Magic. The game was turned off in October 2016.
The core of the gameplay are online duels between players. Here, players use previously prepared decks of cards (consisting of 59-209 cards), with which they can send their troops into battle or cast various spells. At the head of the player's army stands a hero, represented by a card. The hero determines which units and spells can be included into a given deck. Battles take place on a board made of 16 fields where players lay their cards. The objective of each battle is to deprive the opposing hero of all health points.
As you win skirmishes, you gain experience points and currency, which can be spent on new cards in the in-game store.
Might & Magic: Duel of Champions allows for cross-platform battles (i.e. PC gamers can challenge iPad owners, and vice versa). Much emphasis was put on social features. You can share your achievements with others via networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
The game shines when it comes to audiovisuals. Cards are decorated with interesting graphics from the rich universe of Might & Magic, whereas the accompanying music fits perfectly into the game and is truly appropriate for battles of great armies.

You do it with your cards depicting heroes, events, monsters, spells, special buildings and strokes of luck. The gameplay is turn-based and focused mostly on ranked duels and tournaments. The expansion adds four new card packs, each consisting of 120 cards: Void Rising, Herald of the Void, Forgotten Wars, and Five Towers — 650 cards to collect in total.
