Magic & Mayhem

Magic & Mayhem is a real-time strategy game developed by a team at Mythos Games and powered by the engine used in X-COM: Apocalypse. This time around, however, we will not pursue any aliens, but dive into a world full of cruel mages, terrifying monsters and powerful magic. A slight deviation from the classic solutions in the genre manifests itself in the lack of any building elements. Instead, we use mana resources to create new allies and to destroy enemies. The source of this energy are portals that we need to take control of as quickly as possible. Combat takes place in 30 different sceneries and we will use over 60 sorts of spells against our foes. We may also summon 20 various creatures to fight for us. The game offers three game modes:

• Campaign where our character, apart from gaining experience, will gather new talismans and artifacts.
• Quick battle which we can fight on various maps.
• Multiplayer that lets us try our skills against other people.

It is worth mentioning that the soundtrack was composed by actual musicians which has a positive influence on its quality.
