Lordmancer 2 is an online RPG set in a fantasy world. The game refers to the Heroes of Might & Magic series and allows players to mine the so-called Lord Coin - a cryptocurrency that has a value in the real world, but at the same time is an important element of the economy inside the game. The title is a continuation of Lordmancer from 2008. Active Games is responsible for its creation.
Mechanics
The gameplay in Lordmancer 2 is a bit like in the Heroes of Might & Magic series. Players explore a three-dimensional map observed from an isometric perspective (the game world is large and has an open structure), acquiring treasures and taking on the environment and other participants of the game. During the turn-based battles, we manage many units with different skills. We also have the ability to use powerful magic, strongly influencing the battlefield. Victories enable us to develop the army and the hero, as well as unlock new spells. The game also allows for alliances with other players and joining clans.
An unusual element of Active Games' titles is the way in which the game world economy was designed. It is based on the so-called Lord Coin - a cryptocurrency, which we mine while playing. We can buy items for it and trade with other players, but - what is important - it also has a specific value in the real world and can be exchanged for real money. This way, players' actions during the game can also be a way to earn extra cash.
Game modes
Lordmancer 2 is designed for multi-player fun. The game features both PvE and PvP content.
Technical aspects
Lordmancer 2 has simple, three-dimensional visuals, which do not differ from the standards known from mobile games. Models of characters, monsters, as well as objects that make up the game world, are modestly detailed, textures are often too fuzzy and the lighting system is average.
