A large expansion to Lake, an open-world third person adventure game. Lake: Season's Greetings stars Thomas Weiss, the father of Meredith, the protagonist of the base game. Working as a courier, he traverses Providence Oaks during winter, delivering Christmas packages.
Lake: Season's Greetings is a large expansion to Lake, a warmly received 2021 adventure game. Like the base game, it was developed by an indie studio Gamious.
Plot
Lake: Season's Greetings is a prequel to Lake, set in 1985, almost a year before the original game. The protagonist is a courier, Thomas Weiss, the father of Meredith Weiss from the base game. During the holiday season, he's busy delivering packages to the townspeople of Providence Oaks.
The expansion lets us look at familliar characters from a new perspective, learn more about them and get to know five brand new characters. It also answers some questions left hanging in the base game.
Mechanics
Lake: Season's Greetings doesn't drastically change the mechanics. The open world is still the same, though this time seen during winter. We'll spend most of our time exploring, delivering packages and talking to characters. There are also many decisions to make that affect the story.

Lake: Season's Greetings is not a standalone expansion, requiring the base version of Lake.
