Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance Description
The seventh installment of the popular Kingdom Hearts series draws on the achievements of its predecessors, however, developing the system with the data capabilities of a 3DS console.
The story of the game tells the story of Sora and Riku, characters already known to fans of the series. The characters are chosen by Yen Sid and Mike to play the new role of Keyblade masters, who will be able to stop Master Xehanort from threatening the world. The story continues in part with threads started in Kingdom Heart: Re-Coded, published on NDS.
The creators combined in the game system the characteristics of previous scenes, such as dynamic clashes with enemies in real time, with new elements. During their journey, players acquire skills that allow them to better and more accurately explore the world around them and discover the necessary passages. The combat system has been additionally upgraded with the "Drop Gauge" bar, which allows fighters to use special attacks and run interesting special effects.
Dream Drop Distance takes advantage of the capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS console, while retaining the style specific to the entire series. The game does not lack recorded dialogues, places and characters known from Disney's fairy tales and the 3D effect, which appears during explorations and clashes.
