Just Cause Mobile is a mobile spin-off of the popular Just Cause series by Avalanche Studios. The game allows us take on the role of a self-created hero, fighting the sinister organisation Darkwater. The game is available completely free of charge, but includes microtransactions.

Mechanics

Just Cause Mobile, like other games in the series, is a shooter. Unlike the previous parts, the action is observed in an isometric view. The game also does not feature an open world, offering instead a campaign consisting of linear missions. The game looks like other isometric mobile shooters, i.e. Xenowerk. The left side of the screen is responsible for movement and the right side is responsible for shooting and using items such as grenades. The maps are filled with destructible and explosive objects, which allows us to create chaos and confusion in hostile bases. The ability to use hooks, parachutes and wingsuits makes the game much more interesting. A player can take the helm of a tank or helicopter to gain even greater advantage over his enemies. By performing the missions, we are getting better and better equipment, thanks to which our hero grows in strength.

Game modes

The game has four available game modes. The campaign is made up of thirty story missions, during which our hero fights the forces of Darkwater. Co-op missions for up to four players have an higher difficulty level, but offer more attractive rewards. In a challenge mode, we must carry out the tasks assigned to us as quickly as possible. The last available game mode is multiplayer, allowing three teams of ten players each to compete on extensive maps.

Technical aspects

The game has a high-level graphic design thanks to the use of Unreal Engine 4. The numerous explosions, as befits the Just Cause series, look particularly good.
