Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja (1991) Description
The life of a caveman is not the easiest. Not only do the tribes communicate with the use of beetles, dinosaurs prevail everywhere, but as long as a fool can accurately strike a woman with a machete. Half miserable, if in the case of the latter, the caveman you are familiar with will do the handicraft. But what to do when at dark night a hordes of strangers grow into the settlement, who, in the light of the flames of the bonfire, kidnap everything that has two legs, even the greatest blisters? In this case, it is best to set off with relief. If you want to see how cave vengeance looks like for violating traditional men's and women's contacts, you have to use New World Computing product called Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja.
The main characters of the game are two cavemen with exceptionally familiar sounding names: Joe and Mac. Equipped with reliable axes, they set off on a dangerous expedition in which a short skirt made of tiger fur is the overriding target and the troops of the enemy troops in the area must fall at your feet. The whole project was realized in the form of a classic platformer, it will not allow any enthusiast of breaking the joystick to get bored.
You can play both on your own and in two people at the same time. The game consists in constant walking to the right and extermination of the opponents encountered: other cavemen or bloodthirsty beasts, called dinosaurs. From time to time, a weary axe will replace other, more deadly weapons, which will significantly reduce the number of ranks of the enemy. In addition to the standard strokes, Joe and Mac can prepare a super blow (it takes a long time), which even the largest specimens of prehistoric fauna will not be able to resist. In addition, of course, there is a lot of jumping, which is something a classic platformer cannot do without.
Graphic designers of New World Computing, while preparing the port of the game known from slot machines, fulfilled their task perfectly. Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja is an eye-catching production with a large number of colors, great animation and variety in terms of both opponents and static backgrounds. Prehistoric fans should not be disappointed: this is one of the best versions of cavement-like platformers that appeared in the early nineties at PeCetach.
