Dynamic action game developed by Activision, an adaptation of the 2007 American superproduction. The PC version was created by Traveller's Tales, while the console and handheld editions were made by Vicarious Visions. The plot of Transformers: The Game is loosely based on the story told in the film. In the game we can control both Autobots (Optimus Prime, Ironhide and Bumblebee are at our disposal) and Decepticons (in this case we play as Megatron, Barricade or even Starscream).

A third-person action game set in the universe of the popular Hasbro toy franchise. Contrary to the Transformers games released in recent years, the production by Platinum Games has nothing to do with Michael Bay’s movie series and is directly inspired by the animated TV series that aired in the USA in years 1984-87. In the title, we side with the noble Autobots to face the deceitful Decepticons whose leader, Megatron, discovered a technology that would allow him to transform Earth into a great cybernetic structure. Assuming the role of one of 5 robots, we have to thwart our enemy’s evil plans by using unique abilities and offensive techniques of each character. Moreover, they can be further developed in the course of the game. Thanks to the use of cel-shading technology, the game quite faithfully recreates the atmosphere of the cartoon original. Another highlight of the title is the dubbing performed by the actors who voiced the TV series.

Developed by the Japanese DeNa studio, Transformers: Battle Tactics is a battle game based on the license of the popular Transformers franchise. In the game, the player has to create his own team of robots and engage in turn-based battles. The players get a wide range of Transformers at their disposal, featuring nearly 100 Autobots and Decepticons led by the iconic heroes such as Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, and Bumblebee. The robots exhibit unique abilities and statistics, so one should create his team so that the robots and their skills complement one another. The game heavily emphasizes the tactical aspect, allowing the player to transform their robots into various vehicles, which grants them additional abilities. One can select the elaborate single player story mode as well as the online multiplayer mode. Both experiences are connected in terms of their content.

The gameplay focuses on 1 vs 1 battles utilizing streamlined touch controls. The game offers a wide range of heroes equipped with unique attacks and transformations. Aside from battling, the player engages in base development by using resources acquired through combat and creating defenses comprising unlocked characters.
