Transformers: Forged to Fight Description
Transformers: Forged to Fight is a mobile fighting game released for AND and iOS. The game employs a free-to-play model with microtransactions and was developed by Kabam, the studio responsible for a different mobile fighting game – Marvel Contest of Champions.
Plot
As could be gathered from the title, the game is based on Transformers, a popular franchise encompassing comic books, animated TV shows, toys, or motion pictures.
We are taken to a completely new world which is witnessing a clash between a number of different dimensions and serves as a battleground for different incarnations of Transformers. The campaign follows the exploits of Marissa Faireborn, a popular hero from the comics and an Earth Defense Command general. The scenario is simple, but the introduced universe enabled the authors to create a game that offers content based on every incarnation of the series. As a result, we are subjected to clashes joined by the heroes from both the original cartoons and Michael Bay’s movies.
Mechanics
In short, Transformers: Forged to Fight for AND and iOS is a streamlined fighting game. The players take part in 1 on 1 duels during which we employ touch controls to throw attacks, move, as well as counter or dodge incoming strikes. Extending distance between us and our opponent enables players to use firearms – these attacks can be dodged with a sidestep.
We given a wide range of heroes – each one is offering unique attacks and abilities, including transformation into various machines, such as vehicles or planes. A large portion of the gameplay is devoted to collecting characters – in Transformers: Forged to Fight, the players are free to mix robots that normally belong to opposing teams.
The gameplay is enriched with base management elements. Our pastime can be devoted to base development, which is performed through resources found or awarded during the game. A base also has to be defended – the player can employ available transformers to serve as guardians, even those that are no longer viable in 1 vs 1 combat.
Technical Aspects
Transformers: Forged to Fight is especially characteristic for its audio-visuals. We are left with high-quality three-dimensional graphics that manage to faithfully recreate the atmosphere of both the movie and the cartoons.
