Into the Dead Description
Into the Dead is a title combinih action and endless runner game developed by PikPok.
Story
The storyline plays a supporting role in Into the Dead. The players take on the role of the unlucky person who emerged from a helicopter crash. The protagonist landed in a territory controlled by hordes of living corpses, and from now on his only task is to stay alive.
Mechanics
In Into the Dead we observe action from the first-person perspective. We start the game by the helicopter wreck and our goal is go as far as possible before we fall victim to one of the zombies. In the first minutes of the game we are completely defenseless, so we can only avoid attacks. Over time in return for the distance we have covered, we gain money that we can spend on the purchase of perks that offer us an advantage over our opponents and weapons that enable us to eliminate them.
The devs have put at our disposal not only firearms (such as pistol, machine gun, sniper rifle) but also grenades and a chainsaw. After the inevitable death of the hero, we can boast of the results on the online leaderboards and compare our achievements with other players.
Technical aspects
Regardless of the platform, three-dimensional visuals of Into the Dead show a decent level of quality. Nevertheless, the PC version offers the highest quality, especially the Definitive Edition, developed for VR goggles.
