The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - Panem Run, released on iOS, PC, etc., is an endless runner based on the second part of The Hunger Games. Mechanics

In The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - Panem Run, we play as one of the rebels from Panem (male or female), and our goal is to escape from the agents of the totalitarian regime of President Snow. According to the rules of the genre, our protagonist moves forward and the player's task is to skillfully avoid obstacles. While playing, we move between three parallel paths, jumping over gaps or various types of obstacles (boxes, trees or walls) and slipping under barriers. From time to time, we reach the fork in the road where we have to choose which path we want to follow. Occasionally, we also use the favorite weapon of the heroine of the series - the bow. We use this weapon to shoot at targets.

During the race, the character controlled by us collects special bonuses and various materials, which we can use in the interval between stages to improve abilities or to create additional equipment. Those who are impatient can purchase ready-made power-ups or shorten the time needed to create them, using a typical free-to-play microtransactions system.

Technical aspects

The graphics in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - Panem Run don't differ significantly from most of the mobile endless runners. However, the authors took care of making the districts look unique. Also, the levels and obstacles are generated randomly, making each game different. Thanks to the integration with social networking sites, we can also compete with our friends and climb up the online rankings.
