Stride: Fates Description
Stride: Fates is the second installment in a series of action games originating from 2021. Like the first game, it was developed by Joy Way and created with VR in mind.
Plot
Stride: Fates is set in the dystopian, futuristic Airon City. Our main character, having spent his childhood in the slums, has started ascending the social ladder. The path to success leads through service in SkyChase, elite police forces. To achieve his goal, he must face the criminal underworld.
Mechanics
Stride: Fates is a first-person game. It is divided into missions set in different parts of Airon City, ranging from dark alleys to skyscraper rooftops. The locations are open and can be traversed via parkour. Our character can climb the environment, jump through windows and use zip lines. His agility comes in handy during combat too. The protagonist is proficient in melee combat, firearms and wields many different gadgets. Occasionally we'd also need to demonstrate our hacking skills.
Technical aspects
Stride: Fates runs on the proprietary STRIDE engine. The game features high-quality visuals, advanced physics and an interactive environment.
