Tom Clancy's The Division: Resurgence Description
Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence is a mobile installment of the TPP action game series The Division, developed and released by Ubisoft exclusively for Android and iOS devices. As in previous installments of the series, the focus is on tactical shooting, storyline and acquiring increasingly powerful equipment. The production is distributed on a free-to-play model.
Plot
The plot of Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence is set in an open world - in an urban setting modeled on the modern United States, specifically New York City. The country is in crisis after an epidemic of a dangerous virus, which caused chaos and led to the collapse of the government.
As a result, a number of groups hostile to the residents have appeared on the streets; both those known from previous games in the series and completely new ones. The player's task - playing the role of a Strategic Homeland Division ( SHD) agent - is to crack down on them and defeat their leaders. He must also restore order, protect civilians and give citizens a chance for a better life.
On his way, the player also meets many unique characters and some old friends. The presence of the latter means that although the plot of Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence is completely new and is a closed whole, it allows you to look at the story told in previous installments of the series in a slightly different light.
Game mechanics
Enemy factions are directed by AI. You can face them alone or in co-op mode, shoulder to shoulder with other players. In either of these two ways it is possible to pass not only individual missions, but also the entire story campaign.
An important element of the campaign - as befits a looter shooter game - is also collecting, manufacturing, modifying and upgrading equipment and weapons. What's more, by gaining successive levels of experience, you gain access to new specializations. They offer unique weapons and gadgets that can tip the scales in clashes with enemies. Changing the chosen specialization is possible at any time during the game.
Technical aspects
Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence has been designed so that the player can experience on a mobile device the full extent of what the "big" installments of The Division series offer. Thus, among other things, the game's controls and interface (HUD) have been adjusted accordingly. At the same time, the production offers high-quality realistic graphics.
