Palia is an MMO life simulator with extensive RPG elements. The game was developed by Singularity 6, a studio founded by former Riot Games members.
Plot
Palia is set in the titular colorful fantasy land. Millenia ago, the realm's most advanced civilization - humanity - mysteriously disappeared. Over time, they were replaced by other humanoids. One day, however, humans started appearing all over the world once again. We play as one such person, needing to find a home in this welcoming world and ensure our species' future.
Mechanics
Palia's vast open world consists of unexplored wilds, towns and settlements. Players must explore the world, make friends with its inhabitants, complete quests and learn about Palia's past. During moments of downtime, we can farm, fish, cook or expand and decorate our home. As we progress through the game, we develop our character, learn new skills and acquire useful tools.
Game modes
Though Palia is playable solo, it only reaches its full potential when playing with other people.
