Stationeers

Stationeers is a space station simulator with survival elements. The game has been developed by RocketWerks studio led by Dean Hall – the creator of the original DayZ (a modification to ArmA II), which has become a full-fledged production thanks to Bohemia Interactive. Like the previous game developed by Hall, Stationeers is available on PC. Interestingly enough, the game has been developed by only six people – the remaining part of the crew has worked on a larger project.

Mechanics

In the game, a player assumes the role of a manager of an advanced space station and is tasked with constructing and attaching new modules to the station, as well as overseeing the life support systems, which mainly regards food production and providing the inhabitants with a breathable atmosphere.

Game modes

In the PC release of Stationeers one can play alone, however, the game gains a lot both in the cooperative and multiplayer modes, in which players can share the responsibilities of running the space station.

Technical aspects

Stationeers available on PC features original visuals resembling the style of the best-selling Minecraft. The interiors of the space station are colorful, while its inhabitants are composed of rectangular blocks.
