Space Shuttle Mission Simulator 2 is a continuation of the Space Flight Simulator. Players have the opportunity to face the challenges faced by modern astronauts. Developers from Simsquared studio with attention to detail mapped the interiors of the NASA shuttles as well as the International Space Station.
Shuttle Mission Simulator 2 is a continuation of the highly acclaimed game that allows you to experience the life of an astronaut. The whole again focuses on the most realistic representation of space flights and at the same time introduces a mass of improvements compared to its predecessor.
The game recreates with piety all the elements related to space missions, starting from take-offs (which can also be seen from the flight center) to the performance of tasks in orbit. For most of the time we observe the action from the astronaut's eyes, and in order not to discourage novices, three levels of difficulty with different degrees of realism and details of control have been prepared. All interiors are now connected, allowing for free and smooth movement between the shuttle and the International Space Station. The interactivity of cockpits has also been improved. What distinguishes Space Shuttle Mission Simulator 2 from most other unusual simulators are very interestingly designed missions and what is worth emphasizing, the authors regularly release new ones.
The graphic design has been significantly improved, which is best seen by the resolution of the textures used to cover the Earth model, which is now sixteen times greater. An additional attraction are the natural-looking clouds and night scenes. The game supports Matrox TripleHead2Go and Nvidia nView technologies, which allow to display images on multiple screens, as well as the TrackIR system tracking the movements of the head.
