Game of Thrones: Kingsroad

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is an action RPG developed in collaboration between Netmarble, Warner Bros., and HBO channel. The game uses the license of the Game of Thrones TV series, which was based on A Song of Ice and Fire - a series of fantasy novels by George R.R. Martin.

Plot

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad takes us to the continent of Westeros, and more precisely – to the area around the city of Winterfell and the Wall, a gigantic structure marking the border of the Seven Kingdoms in the icy north. The game's action is set between the fourth and fifth seasons of the TV series. Its creators made every effort to ensure that its plot was consistent with both the television series and the original books.

Gameplay

In Game of Thrones: Kingsroad we view events from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game provides us with an open world that we can freely explore. While completing quests and pushing the plot forward, we meet characters known from the series, led by Jon Snow.

Dynamic battles with opponents play an important role here. On the battlefield we primarily use melee weapons, and the key to success is being constantly on the move, dodging and launching lightning-fast counterattacks. Apart from regular enemies, much more powerful bosses stand in our way.
