Action Video Games
Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Such titles put less emphasis on action and combat, focusing more on story, exploration and puzzles.

Half-Life 3

The third installment in a bestselling series of first-person shooters, its current status still unclear. There's been lots of unofficial leaks surrounding Half-Life 3, rarely commented on (and usually shot down) by Valve.
Max Payne Remake

A refreshed version of the first two parts of the Max Payne shooter series, in which we play the titular character. The remake was developed by Remedy Entertainment studio and published by Rockstar Games.
Tomb Raider 13

It is a TPP action adventure game, the thirteenth installment in the series about the adventures of Lara Croft, but not a direct continuation of the previous part. Game was developed entirely on Unreal Engine 5 technology.
MindsEye

A third-person action-adventure game from Leslie Benzies (co-author of the GTA series). In MindsEye we end up in America in the near future. We play as a former soldier Jacob Diaz, taking part in shootouts and car chases, as well as trying to learn about his past.
Hello Neighbor 3

The third main installment of the popular stealth series. Hello Neighbor 3 takes us to a half abandoned town of Raven Brooks. We can get to know its residents and their daily routines are simulated in real time. We can also influence how their lives will change.
Alien: Isolation 2

Alien Isolation 2 (hypothetical title) is a sequel of the well-received 2014 survival horror, based on the Alien movie license. The second game in this series is being developed by Creative Assembly studio.
Deadlock

Darksiders 4

Thorgal

An action adventure gamed with RPG elements, based on the popular comic book series created by Grzegorz Rosinski and Jean Van Hamme. Thorgal allows us to play as the titular viking, dealing with various enemies and gods while trying to protect his family.
To the Star

A survival TPP game from the authors of Gord. To The Star offers a fantasy world inspired by Alice in Wonderland. It can be explored solo or in co-op. The game relies on a unique mechanic of preparing meals, which can be used to strengthen the hero or weaken the enemies.
Far Cry 7

The seventh main installment of the best-selling series of first-person shooters from Ubisoft. The production is led by the veteran Drew Holmes. The game is rumored to feature drastic changes to the existing formula, moving away from some of the ideas from previous entries.
Physint

A spy action game developed by Kojima Productions. Hideo Kojima is the head of the project, known primarily for his Metal Gear Solid series. The creators of Physint describe it as a production blurring the lines between a videogame and a movie.

A sci-fi action adventure survival horror game. Retrieval stars Hana Loshe, a researcher facing down abominations dwelling under the surface of an uncharted alien planet.
Marathon

An online FPS set in the distant future and the next installment in the Marathon series, developed by Bungie since 1994.

Marvel's Black Panther

An open-world action game in which we find ourselves in the Marvel universe of Black Panther. Black Panther: The Game is the work of an Electronic Arts-owned studio in Seattle, headed by Kevin Stephens - former vice president of Monolith Productions.
