Frogsong is an action RPG, in which we play as a small (yet brave!) frog. It was developed by an indie studio Frogteam Games.
Plot
Frogsong is set in the land of Salia. Its main character is a tree frog named Chorus. Despite society's expectations, they decide to become a seasoned warrior. To do so, they head to Boreala, a village where the Defense Guild trains under the watchful eye of an old veteran. Once there, Chorus discovers there's a great threat looming over Salia and thus sets out to face it.
Mechanics
Frogsong makes use of the isometric perspective. The land of Salia consists of five diverse areas. While traversing it, Chorus meets the animals inhabiting it, talks to them, completes quests, fights enemies and powerful bosses. During dynamic combat encounters the frog wields a blade which can be upgraded at the forge to face greater challenges.
Game modes
Frogsong supports singleplayer and local co-op.
Technical aspects
The visuals of Frogsong are hand-drawn, colorful and appealing.
