Floor Plan 2 is a sequel to the humorous puzzle game using virtual reality technology. The first part was released in 2016 by the Turbo Button studio, which also developed the second installment of the series.

Plot

The story of Floor Plan 2 revolves around another unfortunate person having a problem with the lift, as it happened in the first installment of the series. This time it's a newly hired employee of a large company, whose first task is to recover a lost and very valuable treasure. The good news is that it's in a nearby building. The bad news is that the interior of this structure is not particularly concerned with time and space: each floor reached by lift is a separate world, and the locals do not understand our language.

Game mechanics

Floor Plan 2 also follows the path of its predecessor in terms of gameplay, loosely referring to the escape rooms. As in other VR productions, we observe the action from a first-person perspective (FPP), but we don't have the possibility to move freely here. The gameplay is limited to riding in a lift on successive floors and solving puzzles of varying complexity. Once completed challenges can be checked again, albeit in a significantly changed form.

Technical aspects

Each floor in Floor Plan 2 is a separate world: you'll find a pseudo-prehistoric land with cavemen, a disco and a space base from the future, among other things. Graphic design is not very detailed, but stands out with its unique style, especially when it comes to the character models, which are loosely reminiscent of cartoons and sometimes puppet shows.

As with any VR game, a virtual reality set is required to play Floor Plan 2.
