Final Fantasy Type-0 HD

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for PC, PS4 and XONE is a remastered version of Final Fantasy Type Type-0, a jRPG released in 2001 on PlayStation Portable exclusively in Japan. The HD version was released on PC and 8th generation of consoles.

The Plot

The game takes place in the fantasy world Orience which, after a period of peace, was once again divided by war. The Milites Empire attacks its neighbours without any warning. A small island country called Suzaku is one of them. Story focuses on twelve adepts from the magic academy who were delegated to defend the conutry's borders. During our adventures we will have to not only keep the invading forces at bay, but also eliminate the threat once and for all.

Mechanics

As it was already mentioned, we can choose from twelve available characters. Each of them has their own individual combat style (while using a different type of weapon), the ability to summon a unique magical creature to aid us on the battlefield, and unique character traits. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD uses a combat system that combines the turn-based mechanics with solutions known found in many action games. The game offers a vast world, filled with interesting NPCs and side quests to complete.

Technical Aspects

The biggest difference between the original PSP release and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for PC, PS4 and XONE are the game's visuals. Now, they are in high definition and more sutable for the current generation.
