Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory / Fallen Legion Revenants is a compilation of three ( contrary to what the title suggests) action RPGs under the Fallen Legion label. The set includes Fallen Legion Revenants and Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory. The second project is also a compilation, and it consists of Fallen Legion: Sins of an Empire and Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion. It was developed by the YummyYummyTummy studio, which expands the series, and was published by NIS America.

Plot

Fallen Legion: Sins of an Empire takes us on a journey to Fenumia. After the death of its ruler, this fantastic kingdom is in chaos and the heir to the throne, Princess Cecille, has to fight a true battle for her heritage. In Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion we can look at the same story from the other side of the barricade, leading into battle general Legatus Laendur, who is Cecille's enemy. The third component of the compilation, Fallen Legion Revenants, takes us to the Welkin Castle, which has become the last bastion of humanity after the mysterious plague took over the whole world. The fortress is ruled by a mad tyrant, who is opposed by Lucien, the main character, and his unusual ally - the wraith Rowena.

Game mechanics

Games included in Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory / Fallen Legion Revenants feature side-scrolling action. We lead a team of characters into battle, which wander through various locations and fight hordes of enemies. Although the battles are dynamic and we control the whole team at the same time, tactical sense proves indispensable on the battlefield, because the key to success is skillful use of the characters' abilities. As we progress we develop protagonists, which with time allows us to face more and more challenges. In addition, we follow the course of the story and make decisions that affect the development of the plot and its ending.

On the background of the original productions, the compilation stands out due to a number of extras. In Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory a new playable character appears (Aleister) as well as in Fallen Legion Revenants (Winchester). The latter also features improvements introduced in the Crimson Rose update, such as the ability to choose difficulty level, new attacks and weapons unavailable in the original, and an increased pace of battles.
