Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is a metroidvania, in the form of an action platform game with RPG elements. The game is a collaboration between the Live Wire and adglobe teams and was published by Binary Haze Interactive.

Plot

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights takes us on a journey to a fantastic world, to be exact - the Kingdom of End, destroyed by a deadly rain that turns all living beings into bloodthirsty monsters. The main character of the game is Lily - a priestess suffering from amnesia. After waking up in a devastated temple, she sets off across the ruined kingdom, trying to discover the source of the cataclysm and free the inhabitants from the plague caused by the endless rain.

Mechanics

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is a side-scroller. In the game we travel through gloomy locations, of which the vast world is composed. During the exploration Lily has to face countless enemies. Although the priestess herself is basically defenseless, she is accompanied by the souls of defeated bosses, whose skills she can use in battle, eliminating enemies both in melee and at a distance. During the dynamic battles we have to show not only dexterity and reflexes, performing quick dodges and launching lightning-fast counterattacks, but also knowledge of the weak points of enemies. With time we expand the range of available companions and, consequently, abilities. This not only increases our combat potential, but also gives us the opportunity to visit previously inaccessible places. In addition, as we progress we gain artifacts that improve our statistics.
