Emergency 2014 is a package in which we receive the content of Emergency 2012 and Emergency 2013 games, as well as a new package of missions, allowing us to take part in rescue operations in areas affected by devastating meteorite rains. We also receive several new cleaning units, including a fire helicopter and a horse fire brigade.

Emergency 2014 is another representative of an unusual series of real time strategies, in which instead of sending armies to battle, we are fighting natural disasters. This edition includes all missions, game modes (including multiplayer) and maps present in the two previous ones, i.e. Emergency 2012 and Emergency 2013, as well as an additional scenario, four additional missions, a new firefighting unit - helicopter, as well as numerous corrections and improvements.

The topic of the new Emergency 2014 content concerns Caligula asteroid approaching the Earth. The tragedy is heralded by a series of smaller meteorites, which, falling on the surface of our planet, cause considerable damage - one of them destroys even the famous Crooked Tower of Pisa.

The player's task is to counteract the effects of rain meteorites. As a commander of a special organization, he sends rescue units and order services, including fire brigade, ambulance service and police. The firefighting helicopter mentioned at the outset is of help in fighting raging fires. In addition, the player has at his disposal heavy equipment in the form of cranes and bulldozers, thanks to which he can remove debris from collapsed buildings. We provide assistance to the victims during three missions set in the present day.

The action of the fourth bonus mission takes place in the past. In 1890, the Earth was affected by a similar threat - the proximity of asteroids and the associated rains of meteorites. The player's field of action is the Rhineland region, located in the German Empire, and the main objective is to stop the fire that ravages the surrounding farms before the flames reach the nearby town. Special units, e.g. horse fire brigade, have been made available to the player in accordance with historical realities.

From the visual side Emergency 2014 presents itself similarly to previous editions of the game. Three-dimensional graphics are carefully crafted and pleasing to the eye.
