Echo Point Nova is an action-packed first-person shooter that allows players to maneuver seamlessly with parkour skills. This allows for efficient movement between different locations, trying to defeat successive enemies. This is the second game of the Greylock Studio team. It offers a similar gameplay style known from their debut title - Severed Steel.

Plot

In Echo Point Nova we find ourselves on the titular planet of Echo Point after a research ship was shot down. This mysterious planet consists of drifting islands in the air, on which hostile mercenaries are located. While defeating successive opponents, we gradually discover the true reasons for the occupation of the planet, approaching the ultimate understanding of the situation.

Gameplay

The gameplay in Echo Point Nova focuses on dynamic movement between drifting islands and the buildings on them. In addition to using agility in parkour, we have a hook at our disposal, which allows us to reach even the highest surfaces, and a flying board, which facilitates moving over longer distances.

Combat is an integral part of the game, including the use of various firearms and partial destruction of the environment with a hammer. The character can carry six different weapons with them, which allow to diversify each skirmish.

Defeating successive enemies and bosses, as well as exploring new areas, allows us to gain experience points, which leads to character advancement and unlocking new skills. Additionally, we can replenish the adrenaline bar, which allows the activation of special skills that make the game easier.
