Prototype Description
Prototype is an action game in open world, similar for PC, PS3 and X360, to Grand Theft Auto series. It has been developed by Radical Entertainment studio.
Plot
We play as the eponymous Prototype, a super human Alex Mercer. His genetic modifications give him almost unlimited ability to transform his body, either into someone else, to gain deadly weapon or change into deadly monster. What’s more, he even absorbs memories and skills of other people. Alex must make use of this unique ability if he wants to discover his true identity, as he doesn’t remember anything that happened before the experiments.
Mechanics
Prototype for PC, PS3 and X360 focuses on exploring virtual New York and performing given tasks, either forcing us to use force or apply more stealth-like approach. Fights require utilizing the vast arsenal of Mercer’s transformations and attacks, the latter being able to devastate not only his foes, but also surroundings.
