A short simulation game that allows players to play the role of Ana - an astronaut performing a spacewalk from the International Space Station. During the game we learn how to move in a weightless state, how to use tools and how to operate a huge, mechanical arm.

Earthlight: Spacewalk is a simulation game, developed by the Australian studio Opaque Space, in collaboration with the US space agency NASA. The title appeared on the PC platform and was created with virtual reality sets in mind.

Mechanics

In Earthlight: Spacewalk we observe the action from the first person perspective (FPP). During the game we play the role of Ana - an astronaut performing the seventy-sixth spacewalk from the deck of the International Space Station. In space, we have a number of tasks waiting for us - from moving in a state of almost zero gravity, through the handling of tools and gadgets like the Space Pro camera (with the help of which we can take spectacular photographs), to the use of a huge, mechanical arm. The game is operated with the use of motion controllers which will transfer your movements to Ana's hands. The production does not take long overall - it provides about fifteen minutes of gameplay.
