Dragon Hills 2 Description
Dragon Hills 2 is another installment in a series of arcade-action games; Dragon Hills 2 was developed by Rebel Twins, which is an independent team. Similar to the previous installment in the series, the game was developed for AND and iOS.
Plot
The story present in Dragon Hills 2 plays only a supporting role in the game. The player again takes on the role of a princess that rides a powerful dragon - she traverses three different worlds. The protagonist fights her enemies, trying to stop the impending zombie apocalypse.
Mechanics
Dragon Hills 2 for AND and iOS is played from a side perspective. The mechanics were based on the formula developed in the first installment. The player-controlled dragon slides down hillsides, hollowing underground tunnels from which it later on blasts out with great impetus, destroying everything in its path. Furthermore, the dragon also makes use of seven, special upgradable weapons; the beast's combat potential can be improved through collecting power-ups along the way.
Doing so, the player both eliminates different adversaries and brings down environmental objects. Apart from the aforementioned zombies, the player above all fights giants; one encounters 21 powerful bosses here. Throughout the adventure, the protagonist destroys smaller objects, such as cars, but they also bring down significantly larger obstacles, such as parts of buildings.
Technical aspects
Similar to its predecessor, Dragon Hills 2 for AND and iOS offers pleasing 2D graphics presented in a cartoonish style. This relaxing experience is complemented by a fitting soundtrack.
