Dealer's Life 2

Dealer's Life 2 is a tycoon economic game, expanding the concept from first part of the series, in which we play the owner of a pawn shop. It was developed by the same studio, Abyte Entertainment.

Game mechanics

The game is realized in 2D convention. We play by clicking available buttons that look like objects standing on the pawn shop counter, newspaper headlines or speech balloons. Available features are related to conversations, bargaining with customers and development of our shop.

We start the game by selecting a character. We can choose from several avatars, specializing in one of the available skills and having a different level of reputation. We also give them a name and pick the difficulty level. Then we move to the actual gameplay, which means talking to customers. Conversations are realized in the form of simple speech balloons, in which we choose the options we're interested in. Some of our guests want to buy items, and some want to sell. When they offer us prices for the goods, we get the option to haggle to make the best deal on the transaction. We may be able to estimate the value of some items and, based on that, demand or offer an appropriate payment. Customers will not always be satisfied with our proposals - then they will offer their price and we can decide whether to haggle further or close the deal (positively or negatively).
