Gameplanet: 5.5 / 10 by Chris Brown
Despite some interesting puzzles, Keepers of the Void is a repetitive, shallow, and excruciatingly dull. The issues I was able to look past in the core game smacked me much harder this time around, and unlike the attacks in-game, I could see every one of these hits coming.
God is a Geek: 6 / 10 by Gary Bailey
Keepers of the Void is an interesting addition to the game, with some great boss battles, but ultimately is a fairly repetitive and uninspired experience that does little to enhance Darksiders III.
Just Push Start: 3.5 / 5 by Grant E. Gaines
Enjoying Keepers of the Void comes down to what you like about Darksiders III. It's almost entirely puzzles, most of which rehash the same concept of moving blocks to progress. This can make it rather bland, assuming you want more variety. However, given you're getting a fairly large area to explore, new weapons and even some additional story content, there is enough here to see the value in it. At least beyond what The Crucible offered.
Darksiders III: Keepers of the Void Description
Keepers of the Void is the title of an expansion to Darksiders III, developed by the authors of the original, i.e. the Gunfire Games studio.
Story
In Darksiders III: Keepers of the Void, Fury, the main character of the story, takes on a task commissioned by Vulgrim. Its execution requires her to visit a place known as Serpent Holes and face the evil that lurks there.
Mechanics
Keepers of the Void enhances the Darksiders III game by adding a new location where we have to face not only new opponents, but also a number of clever puzzles. The completion of this additional content yields a new weapon for our heroine, as well as the armour named The Abyssal Armor.
Technical issues
Due to the fact that Keepers of the Void is not a standalone expansion, it requires the basic version of the Darksiders III game in order to run.
