Official add-on to one of the best accepted independent games of 2017. The expansion introduces new levels, bosses and the third playable character, Miss Chalice.
Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course is the official expansion for the extremely warmly welcomed Cuphead game, which was released in 2017. It was developed by the creators of the original, indie Canadian StudioMDHR, which delighted critics and gamers alike with its unique visuals inspired by classic American cartoons from the late 1920s and early 1930s.
Game mechanics
Like the main game, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course combines a two-dimensional shoot'em up and a platform game. The add-on offers a brand-new Inkwell Island, hiding many secrets and twelve unique boss fights. Previously unavailable types of attacks and charms also fall into our hands.
One of the main attractions of the expansion is the third playable character - a heroine known as Miss Chalice. She has a partially predefined set of skills, but the basic attacks that the protagonist uses in battle are chosen by the player.
The developers tied the introduction of Miss Chalice directly to the storyline of the add-on. Importantly, after unlocking the heroine, we can also play through the basic version of Cuphead with her.
