The protagonist of the game is a former boxer, now a wrongly convicted drug addict. Having escaped the prison, he embarks on a bloody quest for vengeance. The protagonist traverses subsequent locations and eliminates the enemies he encounters with his fists or various items.

The game was created by Cloudgine – a British studio led by David Jones, who is the father of the series. The developers took inspiration not only from 8-bit classics, but also 1980s science fiction anime. The action of Capsule Force takes place in a distant future, in the eve of an intergalactic war. With the threat of apocalypse looming nearby, the galactic leaders have decided to begin an aggressive program of colonization, using futuristic capsules, which creates various internal conflicts.

Gameplay-wise, the developers drew inspiration from oldschool shooters. Our task boils down to eliminating subsequent hordes of enemies with all kinds of firearms.

The main course are the four new maps: Pacific Highway, Double Cross, Train Dodge, and Diversion.
