City Transport Simulator: Tram Description
City Transport Simulator: Tram is a simulation game that allows us to sit at the controls of a tram. The game was developed by the ViewApp studio, which previously delivered the CityDriver project. Its release was handled by Dovetail Games, a company specialized in this genre.
Gameplay
In City Transport Simulator: Tram we go to the fictional Tramau in southern Germany. During the game we take control of not only the tram, but the entire company that transports passengers around the city.
By traveling from stop to stop according to the timetable, we help the residents of Tramau get to their destinations on time. When designing the driving model, the creators strived to make it realistic. The trams behave according to the laws of physics and this applies to things like the influence of speed on taking turns or the braking distance.
As we progress, we accumulate experience and earn money that we can use to unlock new things. The game provides us with a wide range of trams from different cities, which we can add to our fleet, and also allows us to establish our own lines, connecting individual stops with each other. In this way, step by step, we are creating our own tram network, spanning the entire Tramau. The icing on the cake is the possibility to choose our company's logo and paint the trams in its colors.
Game modes
In City Transport Simulator: Tram we have two gameplay modes at our disposal. In career mode we not only drive the trams, but also manage the business. In fun mode we can freely enjoy driving around Tramau and designing lines, without having to worry about any goals or limitations.
