A simulation game in which we play the role of the owner of a tourist transport company. At Tourist Bus Simulator we both perform the duties of a driver and take care of our activities "from the kitchen", dealing with issues related to economics, human resources, etc. We also take care of our activities from the very beginning.

Technical aspects

Tourist Bus Simulator is a simulation game developed by TML-Studios and PEDEPE, a team specializing in this genre. The publishing was taken care of by Aerosoft.

Mechanics

In Tourist Bus Simulator we observe the action from FPP. The title takes us to the Canary island of Fuerteventura (reproduced in 1:5 scale), putting us as the owner of a transport company. Our main task is to transform it into a bus empire, and our list of duties is really extensive.

While playing, we must first of all take care of a diverse offer for our customers; we can transport passengers along planned routes, transport them from the airport to the hotel and back, or finally organize special trips. Nothing stands in the way of sitting in the driver's seat (the devs have prepared the MAN Lion's Coach and MAN Lion's Coach C buses, as well as off-road vehicles and service vehicles) and travel around the island on our own. The latter consists of twenty cities and beaches, three marinas, as well as many kilometers of roads and serpentines; there is no shortage of collectibles, even in the form of hidden lockers.

In addition, economic issues rest on our shoulders. Therefore, we must employ workers (not only drivers, but also mechanics and guides), help them find flats and places to spend their free time (like gyms, bars and beaches) and finally deal with such things as the content of spare parts storage and vehicle insurance, their servicing, washing and refueling.

However, if we do our job well, the number of money in our bank account begins to grow gradually. We can spend the money on new machines (in order to gather as many of them as possible, it is worth thinking about enlarging the depot) or on buying our own apartment or property (which can be modified later at our discretion).

Technical aspects

Tourist Bus Simulator features average three-dimensional visuals. Particularly noteworthy are the detailed bus models (including rich interiors), as well as dense, tropical vegetation.
