Tram Simulator: Urban Transit Description
Tram Simulator: Urban Transit is a simulation game, in which we play as a tram driver and the director of a tram company. It was developed by stillalive studios and published by astragon Entertainment.
Mechanics
Tram Simulator: Urban Transit is set in Angel Shores, a fictional American town inspired by San Francisco, already known from Bus Simulator 21. The player can control six different trams, including both modern and old-school models. All the vehicles have been designed with great attention to detail, including such things as interactive cockpits.
The player must traverse Angel Shores along an extensive network of tracks. We can not only use pre-made tram lines and timetables, but also design our own. The controls strive to be realistic, meaning driving a tram is no easy task. We must remember we're not alone on the streets, watch out for traffic, obey the rules and take part in random events.
Overwhelmed players can go through special tutorials that will introduce them to the intricacies of tram driving.
Game modes
Tram Simulator: Urban Transit supports singleplayer and multiplayer for up to four people. The game's story mode consists of over ten missions. There's also career mode, which heavily emphasizes cash management - the more money we earn, the further we can develop our company. The final mode, sandbox, lets us make free use of all the Angel Shores districts and grants us unlimited money.
Technical aspects
Tram Simulator: Urban Transit features decent graphics. Though the trams are the most appealing aspect of the game by far, the city itself looks pretty good too.
